Accessible, Compassionate & Collaborative
About Me
Hello!
Hi there, my name is Lisa Arce and I am a Latina therapist licensed in Texas (LPC) and Illinois (LCPC). My goal is to offer accessible, compassionate, and collaborative mental health care to women and gender-expansive individuals.
If you're looking for support to navigate life's challenges with a friendly yet direct approach, I may be a good fit for you. My style focuses on helping you find meaning, strengthen your identity, and create direction in your life and relationships. It would be a privilege to support you as you begin the journey to living a more aligned life.
My Approach
I am LGBTQIA+, Poly/CNM, and Kink affirming and trained. I have specialized training in supporting neurodivergent individuals, trauma recovery, anxiety/depression, and navigating life transitions. My approach is collaborative, relational and grounded in social justice values.
Where Identity, Culture, and Healing Meet
As a Chicana who grew up along the Texas border, my work is deeply rooted in honoring where I come from: the stories, resilience, and cultural richness that shape how we move through the world. I carry that with me into this space, and it informs the way I show up with care, respect, and awareness of the many layers of identity we all hold.
My practice is grounded in two core values: authenticity and curiosity. What does that mean? It means creating a space where you can show up as your whole, true self; without shrinking, censoring, or performing. It also means encouraging you to stay curious about yourself and feel empowered to make choices that truly honor your needs, identities, and lived experiences.
